After years of talking about it, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Martin acoustic. I happened to be in at a large guitar retailer ( you know who I'm talking about) and decided to check out the Martin offerings. They had just gotten a used 2005 HD-28 in trade. this guitar looked like it had been under someone's bed for the last three years. It looked unplayed and didn't have a scratch on it. I played it and a couple of new ones and decided they weren't worth the extra $1000. Since I bought this guitar, I've played it almost to the exclusion of my electrics. It plays and sounds incredible!
