Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue
with '65 Tremolux 2X12 Speaker Cabinet
I bought this amp from Norman Music. The '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue is a faithful rendition of the 22 watt blackface original. This amp is very loud, clean and warm once the tubes heat up. I can't turn it up past 2 in my studio.
The '65 Tremolux bottom was sold to me years ago equipped with two 12" Peavey Scorpion speakers. I have replaced the Peaveys with two 12" 50 watt Celestion Rocket speakers wired for 16 ohms. My son and I also replaced the grill cloth with new fabric to better match the Deluxe. I have been looking for a Tremolux head in good condition. When I find a good one for the right price, I'll restore the cabinet to its proper ohm load and pair it up with its proper piggyback head.
